JD Vance clearly won last night’s debate. It wasn’t even close. He looked into the camera and explained to Americans the problems with the “Harris Administration”—the administration that’s been M.I.A on Main Street.

Walz was overmatched, apologizing for misspeaking about trips abroad like he’s the lead player in “Where’s Waldo?” And the moderators acted like his debate prep team. Is anyone paying attention?

Your Survival Guy asks: Do you want more of your own money in your pocket to choose freely how to invest it, or do you want the Harris Administration to do it for you? With the giant Trump-Era gift tax exemption set to expire next year, it will become increasingly expensive to be a “successful” American on Main Street. Never mind that a Harris Administration wants to tax unrealized gains for billionaires that will sooner or later come for millionaires and then the Middle Class.

Look at the inflation created by the Harris Administration. This was not inherited. It was purposefully done to buy votes. Now the bills are coming due. We have a longshoremen strike, a natural disaster in Ashville, NC, from Helene, Iran lobbing missiles into Israel, China propping up its stock market like a Weekend at Bernie’s, and a Federal Reserve flying blind. Does that sound like a recipe for success? It feels like a recipe to fire up that 70s show.

This is not a time to “hope” it all works out. I’ve read criticisms about a balanced portfolio. What the authors are doing is looking at a mix of the S&P 500 and a total market bond fund. These are not what I would consider a carefully crafted mix of mostly dividend-centric stocks and individual bonds.
